Can I Use Google Pay Without Debit Card?
Google Pay recently announced that it will now support Aadhaar-based authentication when enabling UPI. This implies that users no longer require a debit card to set up their UPI PIN. Users must make sure the number they provide is the same one that is registered with both UIDAI and their bank to register for UPI on Google Pay using their Aadhaar number. Google makes it clear that during the validation process, it does not keep track of users’ Aadhaar numbers.

The first six digits of an Aadhaar number must be entered by users to start the authentication process.
