Every guide on DailyTechByte is meant to help you do something: secure your phone, move your money, pack for a flight, understand a rule that affects you. That only works if the facts are right. This page explains who writes our guides, where the facts come from, and what we do when something changes.
Who writes our guides
DailyTechByte is run by Sanket Goyal, who has spent 8 years in digital marketing working with MNCs and brands on their online presence. Our guides focus on phone and account security, UPI and digital payments in India, online scams, and everyday tech rules for readers in India and the US.
How we check facts
- Primary sources first. Every rule, date, deadline, limit, fee, helpline and number is checked against the original source before publishing: the regulator, the government notice, the official company notice or the manufacturer’s support page. Examples include RBI press releases, TRAI and DoT regulations, aviation authority guidance and official app help pages.
- No invented numbers. We don’t publish statistics, studies, quotes or testimonials we can’t trace to a reliable source. If a figure can’t be verified, it doesn’t go in.
- Current rules only. Rules change. When a rule is new or recently changed, we say when it took effect, and every guide carries a “Last updated” date.
- India and US clearly labelled. Where a rule differs by country, we say which country each fact applies to.
How our guides are made
We use AI-assisted tools to help with research and drafting. They never decide what is true: every fact is checked against the primary sources described above, and the guide is reviewed against our editorial rules before it goes live.
Updates and corrections
We revisit guides when the underlying rules change, and we update the “Last updated” date when we do. If you spot an error or an outdated rule, please tell us through our Contact Us page. We correct confirmed mistakes promptly.
